The Fall of the Swordlords
1/1 barb, fighter
Grooss was borned with a severe malformation. This may have been what lead to his parents abandoning him at an orphanage. He grew up to be about what his face suggested. At the orphanage he spent most of his time playing with toys and trying to play with the other kids, often ending up hurting them in the process so he would often be put on his own, a thing he didn’t like very much. As he grew he became a little more able to control his own strength and actually spent more time around other kids, he liked the smaller ones as he found them amusing to throw around, at their own pleasure. He would often stand up to the other kids that would trouble his friends, not shying away from breaking a nose or two if it meant defending someone, or a toy, that he liked. As he grew into his later teenage years, he became a little rebellious, unhappy of having to go to sleep at the same time as the younger kids and eat as little as them. To contain his outbursts, the people at the orphanage gave him something that had been left there with him when he first arrived. A set of armor and a few weapons, they also provided him with a training dummy that he would bash on whenever he got angry. Said dummy didn’t last long and had to be replaced on a near-daily basis, almost causing a hay crisis in the city.
